Behind the trail name Burnaaga…
This is one of six dual named trails using the local indigenous dhurga language. Burnaaga translates to goanna.
With its remote location at the summit of Mount Wandera, access to the Burnaaga Trail is by 4WD only. Riders will have a safer and much smoother experience when they travel with the endorsed shuttle provider . Southbound Escapes is the official Mogo Trails shuttle service and holds a NSW Forest Corporation permit to operate.

Because of the variable, rough road conditions, and in the interests of safety for all road and trail users, private shuttles are not recommended.
Access to Mt Wandera is via public roads and takes approximately 45 minutes by 4WD from Mogo.
